After the critical conclusion of the Zamasu saga. Goku, Vegeta and Trunks are shown reversing into a shattered dimension. Inside this dimension, all of the warrior's memories of previous foes awaits. They arrive on an unknown plane. A shattering force collides with the Saiyan's hearing, causing them to stumble in plain. Suddenly, a mysterious figure emerges from the nothingness.
The figure is speechless and watches our heroes. Goku attempts to communicate, but the figure is still blank. However, as Goku begins to touch the being, it ignites with life. The strange entity grabs Goku's hand and crunches it. Goku screams in sheer torment. Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan and fires a ki blast at the figure. It responds by letting go of Goku and dodging the attack. Vegeta tells Trunks to leave this, transforming into a Super Saiyan Blue.
With three simple punches, Vegeta colossally destroys his opponent.
(Goku, Vegeta and Trunks regroup)
"Gee, that was frightening" - Goku
"Saiyan up Kakarot...now where the hell are we?" - Vegeta
"Our battle with Zamasu must have taken us to another dimension" - Trunks
"I can sense energy some distance away. Hold on guys" - Goku
(Goku uses Instant Transmission along with Vegeta and Trunks)
*They arrive on a planet that looks identical to Lord Beerus' Temple*
"Hey, this looks exactly like Lord Beerus' planet" - Goku
"That's because it is Kakarot" - Vegeta
(Lord Beerus emerges)
"Who are you mortals and what are you doing on a destroyer's planet?!" - Beerus
"You strangers have awoken me from my slumber, thus you must be punished" - Beerus
*Beerus charges a powerful sphere*
"Wait Lord Beerus! It's us!" - Goku
(Beerus throws the powerful ball, and Goku grabs Vegeta and Trunks and teleports)
